1. Scope of Work 

The GPR surveyor will conduct a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) survey to locate and identify subsurface features within the specified area. The scope of work includes: 

  • Setting up and operating the GPR equipment 
  • Collecting and analyzing GPR data 
  • Generating GPR data reports 


2. Data Disclaimer 

The GPR data is an interpretation of the subsurface based on the GPR signals received by the GPR equipment. The data is subject to various limitations, including: 

  • The presence of subsurface features that cannot be detected by GPR 
  • The effects of soil conditions, vegetation, and other buried objects on the GPR signals 
  • The inherent limitations of GPR technology 


3. Data Ownership 

The GPR data is the property of the client who commissioned the survey. The GPR surveyor will provide the client with a copy of the GPR data in a mutually agreed upon format.


4. Confidentiality 

The GPR surveyor will maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during the survey. This information includes, but is not limited to, the client's name, address, and project details. 

 

5. Payment Terms 

A deposit of 50% of the total survey fee is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 50% of the fee is due upon completion of the survey. Travel and overtime costs will be invoiced separately.

 

6. Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the survey date will result in a cancellation fee of 25% of the total survey fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the survey date will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the total survey fee. 


7. Limitation of Liability 

The GPR surveyor's liability is limited to the amount of the survey fee. The GPR surveyor is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

 

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
